The quick answer
Orthodontic assessment considers tooth position and the bite. The appropriate appliance and treatment plan depend on the problems being addressed.
What the assessment considers
Braces may be considered for crowded teeth, gaps or bite problems. Adults as well as teenagers can have orthodontic treatment. An assessment can include an examination and images or scans to understand the teeth and jaws.
Think beyond the appliance
Fixed braces use brackets and a wire to move teeth gradually. Adjustment visits, cleaning and ongoing dental check-ups are part of care. After treatment, retainers help prevent teeth moving back. Ask about the full plan rather than choosing from appearance alone.
Questions about aligners
Our treatment directory includes braces and aligners. Ask the clinic which options it can offer for your case and how the appointment schedule works. A consultation request is not a promise that a particular appliance will be suitable or available immediately.

- Which problem are we trying to correct?
- What appliance options are available for my case?
- What does the estimate include after active treatment?
- How are missed or rescheduled visits handled?
- Whom do I call if an appliance breaks?
